Our Approach

We believe that understanding and managing the cost and quality of health care delivery depends on subdividing health care services into disease "product lines." Within disease product lines, the clinical practice and capital expenditure decisions become specific enough to evaluate the costs and benefits of alternative choices. Therefore, a disease product line approach helps introduce accountability for cost and quality performance.

We made a corporate decision to concentrate on developing each product line in a complete and comprehensive manner. Tools for inpatient and outpatient obstetrics and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) are currently available. We expect to offer similar tools for other product lines in the future.
